Moccasin Line
The Moccasin Line or the Temiscamingue Linear Park is a multiuse trail built on an old railway in the Abitibi-Temiscamingue Region. This 45-km or 28 miles length circuit allows tourists to discover Abitibi-Temiscamingue by bike.
Cyclists enjoy a marked, crushed rock paths across agricultural and forestry environment. The first 1.4 km of the trail (in Ville-Marie) are paved with asphalt.
Breathtaking views are guaranteed along this nice pathway, which starts at Ville-Marie and ends at Angliers.
Distances are as follows:
Ville-Marie – Lorrainville: 19,3 km
Lorrainville – Laverlochere: 8,8 km
Laverlochere – Angliers : 16,9 km
Tourists will cross old Ville-Marie where century-old homes, charming scenery and superb Temiscamingue Lake unfold before their eyes.
